abused by caffeine

after my midterm last night, i felt like treating myself. on the way home from berkeley, my bro and it hit up nation's, a local hamburger chain. (see that last phrase? it's called an appositive - a phrase that further describes a noun thus requiring a comma - at least i think that's what it is. grammar is kicking my ass, sticking my head in a toilet and giving me a swirly) i had some good pumpkin creme pie and some decaf coffee. a tasty combo. i couldn't fall asleep until 4 am. yeah, i'm pretty sure that coffee was not decaf. i know i have insomnia sometimes but that's just ridiculous. curse inattentive restaurant employees. at least my thoughts during the long caffeinated night of the soul gave me some time to think about stuff, which will be posted forthwith. check the blog obsessively.

Molo,

I listened to an "All Things Considered," story about this a while back. Pretty interesting. I can't believe you know the president of the movement, she's a rogue operative.

Funny thing is that they somehow have apostolic authority I think because some male bishop ordained the first woman priest I think. All very interesting.

This new catholocism movement seems to be catching some steam. Could be cataclysmic. I'd actually be ok with going back to the big C except for the celibacy thing, the no women priestesses thing, and the insistince on real presence thing. Other than that I"m fly.

That's awesome! Good conversations with strangers, little miracles we can enjoy for our very own. Sometimes I think, "oh no, all these little conversations with people I'll never see again" and then I think, "wow. I have met this person at least once. I'm so glad I came." What wonderful struggles to share. Thanks for telling your story, Aud. And, thanks for calling! I'm finally home. Thursday mornings. Seems to be the only time these days. I would love to chat in person. Lots of Love - go get that grammar, tiger :) bw

First of all I'm always tempted to use one of my blog pseudonyms and write something VERY ENCOURAGING!!!!!

But alas I have to tell you all that I read the caffeine blog (oh yes I can relate) and then I read Dan and Bdub's comments...back to back. I completely missed the post about the Catholic woman. First I thought Dan Ray was on a random rant about something he heard on the radio, then I thought Sara was just being weird and SOOOO encouraging XOXO!!! [read Annie] ....and then it occured to me I must have missed something. If women can be priests one day, non-secretive preists, then it won't be as funny when reply "theology" to the acquaintance question of "what did you study?" and then they look at you weird and say "do you want to be a priest of something." Or my favorite, "oh like rocks and stuff?"
Good times....good times....longest comment ever...
