As an antithesis to this, there is a coffeeshop in holland, mi where the owner matt is super emo-deadpan. I was in there getting coffee in June and a friend came in and Matt in his most inauthentic happy way said, "hellooo!" his friend was taken aback for a moment to which Matt said, 'if i am ever that happy, punch me in the face." zoinks! we are absolutely all extremes all the time, no exceptions. but give me my boost!
