my class is done and done. thank goodness.
i've learned some stuff that i will probably be glad to know at a later point. i saw myself improve as an editor over the duration of the class. but when i sat and listened to the teacher describe the need to draw an arrow for editing purposes, i thought to myself, "i can't believe i paid to hear someone talk about drawing an arrow." really, any amount is too much.

Audrey---I will write you to unlike some other people I know *cough* danray *cough*. Anyway, I am proud of you for all that you are doing and eventhough it may not seem like it right now, it is all going to work out and one day you will look back and realize that this time in life was for a reason. Keep on keepin on!!!!! ;) Miss you! How many more days until you are here?!?!
katie = good blog commenter b/c she actually comments on what is posted. and she is nice to me.
dan ray = bad blog commenter b/c its not even directed to me, or is relevant to anything on this blog if only to make me jealous about seeing over the rhine. wtf?
Dear AUDREY only (Dan Ray, don't read this)
I'm mildly sad you didn't think our joke was funny. Or maybe you thought it was so funny that you had to save it on your hard drive, instead of on your blog. Annie thought it was AWESOME xoxo!!!! I miss you too and can't wait for you to come up here (wasn't the concert great?). We are all looking forward to your visit. (Let's find another blog to try this joke on). I got a CD of David Sedaris for you to listen to when you come up here. See you soon (you too Dan).
What about me? I'm a good and faithful commenter! And I have never once brought up the fact that I had dinner with Over the Rhine once when they were playing at Hope. Not even once! By the way, they weren't very nice and didn't try to make conversation, a little self obsessed, I was sad but continue to listen to their music.
and now my response to the latest response of a former response...
"They have to find a way to figure out how to make themselves interesting. And they are very much so (although there doesn't need to be a 15 minute intro to EVERY song)".
I CONCUR.
(Hi Audrey!)
p.s.
hey, so what is the criteria to be linked as a "rock-star friend"????
all of my friends are rock stars, in the sense that they are totally awesome (even when they rub it in on my blog that they are going to see over the rhine when nothing really ever that cool happened while i was at regent. i am in a general bitter state, so then i was more bitter, and saw fit to act dictatorial on my blog).
however the rockstar friends link is for friends that are in actual bands and have put out actual cds, that i can find in record stores (sherwood) and have been nominated for awards (molly - for best new pop album, San Diego Music Awards)
